Kickstarter Update: Digital Green Hornet Rewards Delivered!

Hey, Green Hornet Fans,
We’re excited to announce that your digital rewards for The Green Hornet Anthology – Detroit Noir City went out last night! You should now find them waiting in your inbox.
If you did not receive your rewards, or if anything looks incomplete or missing, please DM us right away. We’ll make sure you get everything you’re owed as quickly as possible.
On the production side, all printed materials are now at the printer and moving through the process. We’ll keep you updated, but everything is on track and should be delivered to you soon.
In the meantime, we hope you enjoy diving into the digital editions. Thank you again for your incredible support—this project exists because of you. If you would like to add anything to your order, now would be the final chance to do so.

Greetings Crime Fighters and Holiday Greetings!
I'm pleased to report the files are (mostly) done with both the Regular and Hardback covers sent to the printers. We're waiting on a small adjustment to the Trade Paperback (Soft Cover) edition and that will be sent, as well. We have not gotten a confirmation from the printer as to where we are in the queue yet, being this was a holiday week, but we're hoping to get that soon! So, hang tight! We'll give you a ship date as soon as we have it.
Also, as a thank you for all your patience, we're now including the illustrations in both the Hardcover and Softcover editions. We wanted to do something special and this was the easiest call to make, so everyone will get to see Dennis Callero's amazing work regardless of what edition you get.
As for the digital editions, they're nearly ready to send to your inbox. We are only waiting for a couple more of Moonstone's older Green Hornet titles to get ported over, then those will all be sent to your emails. Please watch for that announcement.
The trading cards have finished printing and have shipped, so that's great news for those who ordered them. They will definitely ship with the books!
What happens next? Well, we wait for the printer to print and ship the books to Moonstone's not-so-secret compound in Chicago, where Joe's team will assemble shipments matching your backer rewards. Then, we send them to you. For many of you, who have asked if these will arrive in time for Christmas, I can't say for sure, but I'm going to be honest and say, it's a long shot. If the printer turns the books around quickly, and we get all the needed materials together and ship before Christmas, we still have to deal with it being the busiest shipping time of the year.
So, I'm going to make an offer, and let you think on it. If these books were indeed a present for someone special, let me know directly. What I will do will be to create a custom image you can put in an envelope to give them on gift giving day, informing them of what a thoughtful person you are, apologize for the delay, and provide images of the book(s) they are to receive. It will look professional and will let them know what an amazing work of fiction they have coming to them. If this is something you'd like, send me a direct message to david at longshot-productions dot net with the header "Green Hornet Placeholder Letter." It's still possible we will get these books out in time, but just in case, this is the backup we've come up with.

Let me follow up with Frank's reply earlier. All the edits are in! The ARCs have been generated and will be going to reviewers soon.
That means digital rewards are right around the corner and you might see those as early as next week! That includes e-book versions of Green Hornet & Kato: Detroit Noir City could be in your inbox before Thanksgiving!
As I mentioned before, when the print version goes to the printer, we go into their queue and wait our turn. What that looks like, we don't know yet, but as soon as we do, we'll let you know. But, I can tell you the Bookplates now have four confirmed signatures, including Timothy Zahn, Kevin J. Anderson, and Michael Haspil! We're hoping to add at least one more before the books arrive.
We also got final approval on the trading card sets, so those are in their print queue waiting to be printed and shipped.
We're hoping to have the physical book to you in time for Christmas gifting. We won't know for sure until we get word they're on their way to Chicago, home of Moonstone Books. Fingers crossed!
Again, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This has been a major learning process, and we now have built in short cuts for next time. We don't know what our next project is, yet. But when it happens, you'll be the first to know.

Greetings Crime Fighters!
Good news! We're almost done with the ARCs. We only have one more author we're waiting on to approve their story, then it's off to the printers! After that, we'll be able to give you an (almost) exact timeframe of when the books should arrive to you!
Other updates: The bookplates are being filled out by some of the authors. First up, I can reveal to you now, is Timothy Zahn's signature you're guaranteed to receive! As I acquire more, I'll update you. You can probably expect another ahem Star Wars author to also be included.
For those who bought the trading card set, those are almost ready to go to the printers. Here's a sample of one of the cards:
Moonstone dug deep into their 15-year history to provide you classic images, along with never-produced art. This is an amazing card set and well worth the add-on.
Thank you all once again for your patience! We're working real hard to make sure you enjoy our little book-that-could. I hope you'll all love it when it arrives!
